Cremadelli
Basset Hound & Bracco Italiano
I'm a veterinarian who lives at the country side of Hämeenlinna, Finland. I got my first basset, Hopeless Ice Crystal Iris "Hertta" (RIP), in 2002, and has been active in the breed ever since. My second basset, Woodhead Doctor's Order "Helli" (RIP), I bought in 2010 and the third one, Ure My Candy Van Grunsven "Hilde" (RIP) came from Holland in 2013. In 2017 I brought a bitch from Italy, who currently lives with Hilde's son and won't ne used for breeding.
I was fortunate to watch Hilde's 1st litter grow at kennel Woodhead in 2015 and in February 2018 first Cremadelli puppies were born. Only girl from the litter, C. All Glitter And Sparks "Hile", stayed home and with her mom they are making sure that there isn't a boring day! When Hilde passed away in 2020 (kidney failure),bracco italiano Heinäaron Per Sempre Tuo "Aldo" joined our family. At the moment I don't breed, but hope to have at least a bracco litter somewhere in the future.
My kennel name, Cremadelli, comes from the name of Hilde's daughter "Kermis" W. Creme De La Creme, that I had so high hopes for. Unfortunately, she had to be put to sleep when she was only 8 months and I was devastated. Hopefully her life will continue in the future generations of Cremadelli dogs.
I've been a board member of the Finnish Basset Hound Association in 2009-2016 and a member of the Finnish Basset Club's breeding comittee since 2014. I'm a member of Finnish Kennel Club, Basset Club, Bracco Association and Finnish Dog Breeder Club (SuKoKa ry).
I'm aiming to breed quality dogs that are healthy, well built and fit for function, have a great temperament and bring a lot of joy to their families.
I'm an enthusiastic dog show exhibitor and also like to do blood tracking and rally obedience's with my dogs. I hope that the dogs I breed get active homes, as bassets are so much more than just couch potatoes! Still, the most important thing of all is that they are living as loved family members.
